What leaves your browser

A short summary of the privacy policy. It has the details.

What Group Posting keeps local and what it sends, checked 30 September 2026
DataWhat happens to itChecked
Facebook password, cookies and sessionNever leave your computer. Group Posting never receives them.
Groups, posts and leadsStored in your browser. Pro's daily cloud backup uploads a copy so you can restore it, and AI features send the text they need to write. Lite and Plus have no cloud backup.
Pro cloud backupAutomatic and daily, as part of Pro. It holds your group list and tags, templates, campaigns, schedules, AI and Lead Radar settings, up to 90 days of posting history and up to 500 recent Lead Radar matches. It never holds your Facebook password, cookies or session.
Lead Radar leadsStored in your browser. Drafting a reply sends the post's text to our AI service. Pro's daily cloud backup keeps a shortened copy of recent matches (group, link, matched keyword and a snippet, with the author's name removed) so you can restore them.
AI requestsGo to DeepSeek through Group Posting's server. They carry what you ask the AI to write and, depending on the feature, your saved AI Studio profile and some of your group names. Never your Facebook password, cookies or session.
Anonymous usage dataOptional product events and posting diagnostics are on by default; switch off “Allow Anonymous Usage Data” in Settings to stop them. They include versions, a random installation id and run outcomes. A verified paid run can also carry its licence key and run id, which the server hashes before use. Licensing, Pro backup and connected-agency reporting are separate.
Lead Radar webhooksOnly if you add one. Selected events, including matched post text and its author, go from your browser to the webhook address you choose.
Licence checkA paid licence is checked with our server about once a day. The check carries the licence key, a random installation id and the time of your last successful post (a timestamp only).
Agency connectionOnly if you connect the extension to an agency and confirm it inside the extension. Then your group list, your profile and Page names and pictures, the results of that agency's posts and the extension's health are shared with that agency. Your own posts, your Lead Radar matches and your password are never shared with it.

What Group Posting does not do

The limits matter as much as the features. These are the ones people ask about most.

What Group Posting does not do, checked 30 September 2026
TopicThe factChecked
Your Facebook passwordGroup Posting does not ask for it. It uses the Facebook session already open in your browser.
Where it postsOnly where your own profile or Page can post: groups that profile or Page has joined, under each group's rules and admin approval.
Reach and restrictionsIt does not promise reach, and it cannot rule out restrictions. No tool can promise zero risk on a platform it doesn't control. Its pacing settings help you manage how fast and how often you post; Facebook's limits and each group's rules still apply.
Posting with Chrome closedNothing runs while Chrome is closed or the computer is asleep. Posting does not run in the cloud.
Lead Radar timing and scoringLead Radar (Pro) checks the groups you pick every 15, 30 or 60 minutes while Chrome is open, so a match arrives on a later check, not as soon as it is posted. It gives posts no buying score. When it drafts a reply, the AI says how relevant the post looks: Looks relevant, Could be relevant, May not be a fit or More context needed.
Contact collectionIt does not collect group members' contact details or export member lists. Lead Radar keeps the posts it matched, with the author's name, in your browser.
Joining groupsSearch Facebook for groups from Milo on any plan. Plus and Pro can choose groups and send join requests, up to 5 a day per Facebook account, spaced at least 3 minutes apart; Pro adds AI fit ranking, Join for me and recurring find & join. Facebook may require admin approval. Joining never posts for you.
White-labelThe agency plans are not white-label.
