Facebook group post readiness checklist

Before submitting a post, check the actual group. Record what you know, surface what is blocked, and make unknown requirements visible.

  • No sign-up
  • Inputs processed in your browser
  • Copy & download
  1. Name the group and identityCheck whether this group permits the profile or Page you intend to use.
  2. Read the current rulesRecord the relevant requirements and answer each check honestly. Unknown is a useful answer.
  3. Resolve gaps before postingThe worksheet flags blocked and unknown items. It does not certify safety or promise approval.

Record your checks

You supply the group rules and decisions. The tool does not access Facebook, inspect a group or grant posting permission.

Use the exact group you are reviewing.
Name the profile or Page you intend to use.
Paste or summarize the current requirements yourself. Avoid personal or confidential information.

I can access this group and submit a post as a member.

This group permits the profile or Page I plan to use.

I have read the current rules and noted the relevant requirements.

This post and its timing fit the group’s rules on offers or promotion.

The post’s links, images, video and formatting are permitted here.

I understand whether admin approval is required and that submission may remain pending.

I have checked the facts, wording and relevance before submitting.

Your inputs stay in the tool. They are processed in this page and are not sent by the tool. The site’s normal analytics and consent rules still apply. The tool does not save your work; copy or download before leaving.

Unknown is better than an invented green light

Check membership and posting identity separately. Being able to read a group does not necessarily mean that your Page can submit this post. Read the group’s current promotion rules and format restrictions, and check whether administrators review submissions.

A “complete” result means you recorded every check and supplied a rules note. Facebook may still restrict an account, reject content or keep a submission pending. The worksheet makes your preparation visible; it cannot predict platform enforcement.

Illustrative example

A bakery has permission to post as its Page and knows that offers require approval, but has not checked which day promotion is allowed. Mark promotion as “Unknown” until the current rules answer it. The result should stay “Review needed”.

If the rules prohibit this offer, mark it “Blocked” and change the post or choose an appropriate group before submitting.

Common questions

Does a complete checklist mean my post is safe?

No. It means you recorded all the checks and a rules note. It is not a Facebook safety score or permission certificate. No tool can guarantee publication, approval or protection from account restrictions.

Can this tool read a group’s rules for me?

No. You must read the actual group’s current rules and supply your own notes and answers. The tool processes that worksheet locally without accessing Facebook.

What should I do with a blocked or unknown item?

Resolve blocked requirements before submitting. For unknown items, read the group’s rules or ask its administrators when appropriate. Do not interpret an unknown answer as permission.

Your next step

Choose who will run the approved plan

Completing a checklist does not guarantee publication. Group rules, moderation and the publishing browser still govern each attempt.
