Best Facebook Group Posting Tools in 2026: Methods and Limits
- Tool comparisons
- Group posting

Disclosure: we make Group Posting, one of the tools in this list. The comparison below uses vendor websites and help centres, revisited on 3 October 2026. Their feature statements are vendor claims, not independently measured performance. Some help and pricing pages are access-limited or dynamic; those gaps are disclosed rather than treated as proof a capability is absent.
Choose by who finishes publishing, where the work runs and which identity is allowed in the destination. The options documented below are Facebook's native scheduler for groups you manage, browser-based tools for permitted posts in joined groups, mobile notification workflows you finish manually, and tools whose documented Facebook connection is for Pages. The public Groups API retirement on 22 April 2024 removed the old automatic third-party integration; it did not retire every browser workflow or native group feature.
How we checked
- What: each vendor's pricing page and its own help or FAQ pages about Facebook groups, Meta's Help Center, and Meta's Graph API v19.0 changelog.
- When: 3 October 2026. Prices and features change, so check the vendor's page before you buy.
- How: we read official vendor pages and help material, including indexed versions when retrieval was limited, and recorded the claims they support. We did not verify every behavior inside a paid account. Prices are list prices before tax, in the currency the page showed us. We did not install the other tools or test their posting, so each claim below is the vendor's own.
- Order: tools that post into groups first, then Facebook's own scheduler, then schedulers that send reminders, then Page schedulers. Our tool comes first in its section because we can describe it from the inside, limits included. The order inside a section is not a score.
- Left out: store ratings and user counts, which change often, and any claim we could not confirm on the vendor's own site.

What software can post to Facebook groups?
Six tools in this comparison, including ours, post into Facebook groups you have joined: Group Posting, MultiGroupPoster, PilotPoster, SafePoster, NinjaPoster and SimplePoster. They are browser extensions that use the Facebook account signed in to your own browser, so the computer and browser must be on. Facebook’s own scheduler covers only groups you run, and cloud schedulers such as Buffer remind you to post. See the six side by side.

Sources revisited 3 October 2026. Prices shown are the vendor’s stated list basis before tax, not final checkout quotes. Dynamic prices that could not be verified have been omitted. Meta’s native scheduling help redirected to login; its previously documented feature is retained with that retrieval limit stated below.
Tools that post into Facebook groups for you
These six are browser extensions. They post from the Facebook account already signed in to your own browser, so they can reach groups you joined, not only groups you run. That also means your computer and browser have to be on for posts to go out, and your own account carries any risk.
1. Group Posting (our tool)
What it is: a browser extension for desktop Chrome and Edge that posts into the Facebook groups you pick, from your own logged-in browser, as your profile or a Page you manage. It has two posting engines, Direct API through authenticated internal Facebook web GraphQL requests (the default), and Classic DOM through the visible composer. Both use the logged-in browser session, and neither uses the retired public Groups API. Group import, extraction, profile switching and auto first comment are available on every plan. Pro adds ongoing AI writing (Lite and Plus share 5 lifetime AI uses), multi-step campaigns and Lead Radar, which watches your groups for posts that match your keywords.
- Facebook groups: posts into groups you joined and groups you run, wherever your profile or Page is allowed to post. Group rules and admin approval still apply.
- Price: Lite is free: 5 group-posts a day and 5 lifetime AI uses, no card. Plus is €69 a year (€5.75/mo, annual only) for unlimited posting and simple schedules. Pro is €24 a month, €39 a quarter or €119 a year (€9.92/mo). You can try Pro for €14 for your first month; it then continues at €24 a month unless you cancel. Agency plans start at €199 a month. Details on our pricing page and our dated fact sheet.
- Best for: people who post into many groups they joined and want the writing help and lead-finding in the same tool; agencies whose clients keep their own Facebook login.
- Limits: desktop Chrome or Edge only, with no phone app. Schedules and runs require the computer awake and online, Chrome or Edge open, the extension enabled and Facebook signed in. Lite stops at 5 group-posts a day. Lead Radar is Pro only and checks up to 25 of your groups every 15–60 minutes while Chrome is open, so a match arrives on a later check, not instantly. Pacing settings help you manage risk; they cannot prevent Facebook restrictions. The agency plans are not white-label: each client runs the Group Posting extension and connects it to your dashboard.
2. MultiGroupPoster (formerly FB Group Bulk Poster)
What it is: a Chrome extension that posts one message to many Facebook groups from your own browser session. Its pricing page calls it "the rebranded successor of FB Group Bulk Poster", so we treat the old and new brands as one product rather than two competing entries. The older brand page is retained as a historical reference. Compare it with us on Group Posting vs MultiGroupPoster and Group Posting vs FB Group Bulk Poster.
- Facebook groups: posts into groups you are already a member of (checked 3 Oct 2026, multiplegroupposter.com). Its FAQ says it runs anywhere Chrome runs, including Edge and Brave (checked 3 Oct 2026, multiplegroupposter.com/pricing).
- Price: a free trial of 6 group posts, one time; Pro Monthly $9.99 a month; Pro Annual $69.99 a year; 14-day money-back guarantee. The current rebranded product’s pricing page is the purchase reference; do not assume an older brand page controls the current checkout.
- Best for: low-cost bulk posting with spintax, auto first comment, rotating image sets and coloured backgrounds.
- Limits: no built-in AI writer yet; its FAQ suggests pasting AI-written versions into the spintax field and says native AI is on the roadmap. Scheduled posts go out only while your computer is on. Firefox and Safari are not supported (checked 3 Oct 2026).
3. PilotPoster
What it is: a Chrome extension that runs your group posting on a schedule from your own browser. Its pricing page says it has helped people post to joined groups since 2020. Our side-by-side is at Group Posting vs PilotPoster.
- Facebook groups: the vendor advertises joined-group posting, plus profile posting, RSS and Page autoposting; destination permissions still apply (checked 3 Oct 2026, pilotposter.com/pricing).
- Price: one plan, PilotPoster Pro, at $47 a month; a 1-day trial for $0 that needs a card; a 7-day money-back guarantee. Its FAQ describes a Pro AI tier with an "Auto AI suite", but the pricing page lists no price for it (checked 3 Oct 2026).
- Best for: posting to groups, your profile and Pages from one plan, with spintax and AI spinning, auto-repeat campaigns and auto first comment. Its site also links a white-label partner program.
- Limits: no free plan; the trial lasts one day; the Pro AI price is not published on the pricing page.
4. SafePoster
What it is: a web dashboard plus a Chrome extension that publishes your campaigns to Facebook groups with a delay between each group (safeposter.com).
- Facebook groups: imports the groups you belong to and posts as your personal profile or a Page you manage. Its FAQ says posts require the browser extension to be running (checked 3 Oct 2026).
- Price: one plan, SafePoster Pro, at $47 a month; a 7-day free trial with no card for eligible users; a 7-day money-back guarantee (checked 3 Oct 2026, safeposter.com/pricing).
- Best for: trying a paid tool before paying for it; turning an RSS feed into group posts; AI post creation and spintax on one plan.
- Limits: one plan only. If the extension goes offline, its FAQ says queued posts resume later and missed days are skipped.
5. NinjaPoster
What it is: a Chrome extension with an online account that posts to the Facebook groups you joined (ninjaposter.io).
- Facebook groups: the vendor advertises posting into joined groups as a profile or Page with text, links, images and video; group permission still applies (checked 3 Oct 2026, ninjaposter.io/pricing).
- Price: NinjaPoster Pro at $37 a month, billed monthly. The page says the price will rise to $57 and that people who join now keep $37. A 7-day refund applies to the first payment only (checked 3 Oct 2026).
- Best for: an AI rewrite for each group, RSS posting, auto-repeat and auto first comment on one monthly plan.
- Limits: monthly billing only; no free plan or free trial on the pricing page; later payments are non-refundable.
6. SimplePoster
What it is: a Chrome extension that works through your list of groups one by one from your own browser, at a pace you set (simpleposter.app).
- Facebook groups: posts into any public or private group you are already a member of, through the normal group interface (checked 3 Oct 2026, simpleposter.app).
- Price: $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, each with a 7-day free trial. The card is taken at checkout and the plan continues when the trial ends unless you cancel (checked 3 Oct 2026).
- Best for: a comparatively low listed subscription fee, on a Windows PC, with spintax, templates and one-time or weekly schedules.
- Limits: Chrome on Windows 10 and 11 only, so no Mac, Linux, ChromeOS or phone. AI rewrites run on your own OpenAI key, and you pay OpenAI for what you use. Scheduled posts need Chrome open at the scheduled time. One licence covers one device at a time.
Facebook's own tool: scheduling in groups you run
7. Facebook's built-in group scheduler
What it is: the schedule option inside a group's own post composer, plus recurring posts through Admin Assist.
- Facebook groups: Meta's Help Center says "Admins and moderators can schedule group posts", and admins can set up posts that recur daily, weekly or monthly (the linked Help page redirected to login during this refresh; check the controls available in your managed group).
- Price: free.
- Best for: admins and moderators running their own community.
- Limits: only in groups you admin or moderate; ordinary members cannot schedule. You schedule inside each group separately, so it does not send one post to many groups.
Schedulers that remind you to post in a group
These tools still list Facebook groups, but since April 2024 they cannot publish into a group on their own. They save your post and send a notification to their phone app at the scheduled time; you open Facebook and post it yourself. That is fine for one group now and then. For twenty groups, it is twenty reminders.
8. Buffer
What it is: a social media scheduler for Pages, Instagram and many other networks.
- Facebook groups: reminds you. Buffer's help page says it can no longer send group posts automatically because of Meta's April 2024 Groups API change; the Buffer mobile app notifies you and you copy the post into the group (checked 3 Oct 2026, Buffer help). More in can Buffer post to Facebook groups?
- Price: a free plan for up to 3 channels; Essentials $5 a month per channel, billed yearly ($60 a year); 14-day free trial (checked 3 Oct 2026, buffer.com/pricing).
- Best for: Pages, Instagram and other networks, with the odd group post you are happy to finish by hand.
- Limits: group posts need the Buffer mobile app with notifications on, and a person to post each one.
9. SocialBee
What it is: a social media scheduler built around content categories.
- Facebook groups: reminds you. Its help article says Meta's April 2024 change stopped direct group posting; you add the group as a "Universal Profile", get a mobile notification at the scheduled time and create the post in the Facebook app. You do not need to be a group admin (checked 3 Oct 2026, SocialBee help).
- Price: Bootstrap $29 a month billed monthly, or $290 a year; 14-day trial (checked 3 Oct 2026, socialbee.com/pricing).
- Best for: category-based content calendars across many networks.
- Limits: every group post is finished by hand, and the SocialBee mobile app with push notifications is required.
10. RecurPost
What it is: a social media scheduler known for recycling evergreen content.
- Facebook groups: reminds you. Its knowledge base says third-party apps can no longer share posts directly to groups after the API change of 22 April; RecurPost sends a push notification to its mobile app and you post through the Facebook app (checked 3 Oct 2026, RecurPost knowledge base).
- Price: Starter $9 a month, billed monthly, for 2 social accounts; 14-day free trial with no card; 30-day money-back guarantee (checked 3 Oct 2026, recurpost.com pricing).
- Best for: recycling evergreen posts on a small budget.
- Limits: group posts need the mobile app and a manual post each time.
11. Publer
What it is: a low-cost scheduler for many social networks.
- Facebook groups: reminds you. Publer's help centre says it now has access to the Pages API only and that posting in groups requires reminders, sent as push notifications to the Publer mobile app; it cannot collect group insights (checked 3 Oct 2026, Publer help).
- Price: a free plan is listed; paid plans depend on social accounts and additional members. The retrieved price controls did not expose a reliable current amount, so use the live calculator for your billing term (checked 3 Oct 2026, publer.com/plans).
- Best for: cheap scheduling across many networks.
- Limits: group posts are reminders you finish yourself, with no group insights.
Page tools: documented support and group evidence gaps
These vendors document Facebook Page workflows. Where their supported-connections pages do not list groups, that is a scope finding from the material we reviewed, not proof that every possible reminder or new integration is absent. Circleboom explicitly states its former group integration stopped; SocialPilot has conflicting documentation. Verify directly before buying any of these for groups.
12. Hootsuite
- Facebook groups: its current supported-connections help lists Facebook Pages. We could retrieve indexed official guidance, while the direct help endpoint returned a loading/CSS shell; this review does not establish a current group publishing route (checked 3 Oct 2026, Hootsuite help).
- Price: Standard starts at $99 per user a month on the annual-billing basis; verify the currency and complete quote for your region; 14-day free trial with no card (checked 3 Oct 2026, hootsuite.com/plans).
- Best for: larger teams that want publishing, one inbox and brand monitoring in one place.
13. Metricool
- Facebook groups: its connection guide documents Pages, with personal and creator profiles unsupported. A group connection is not described in that guide (checked 3 Oct 2026, Metricool help).
- Price: a free plan for 1 brand; Starter from $20 a month on the page’s US-dollar list. Currency and brand count affect the quote (checked 3 Oct 2026, metricool.com/pricing).
- Best for: analytics and planning for Pages and other networks.
14. Loomly
- Facebook groups: Pages are documented; a group workflow is not established by the reviewed sources. Its help centre requires a Facebook Page for the documented scheduling connection (checked 3 Oct 2026, Loomly help). That Page requirement alone does not establish whether a separate reminder or manual group workflow is available; ask Loomly to demonstrate the current workflow you need.
- Price: Starter $49 a month billed yearly ($588 a year), or $65 month to month (checked 3 Oct 2026, loomly.com/pricing).
- Best for: teams that need approval workflows and roles.
15. SocialPilot
- Facebook groups: group support is unresolved in this review. Its current account connection guide documents Facebook Pages and Instagram business profiles, with no group setup (checked 3 Oct 2026, SocialPilot help). Its Facebook feature page still says "Pages and Groups", and a help answer about the "Published by SocialPilot" label still mentions group posts, so ask SocialPilot before you buy it for groups.
- Price: Essentials $30 a month billed monthly, or $25.50 a month billed yearly (checked 3 Oct 2026, socialpilot.co/plans).
- Best for: Page scheduling for solo professionals and small teams.
16. Sendible
- Facebook groups: its supported-platforms list names Facebook Pages ("Facebook Fan Page") and Facebook Ads, with no groups in that list (checked 3 Oct 2026, Sendible support).
- Price: Core and higher plans list a 14-day free trial with no card and unlimited users. The retrieved page did not expose a reliable current price amount; confirm the live quote for workspaces and billing term (checked 3 Oct 2026, sendible.com/pricing).
- Best for: agencies managing many client Pages; white label is offered on its Elite and Enterprise plans for an extra fee.
17. Circleboom Publish
- Facebook groups: cannot post into groups. Its own group-posting page carries a notice that, with Meta discontinuing the Groups API on 22 April 2024, Circleboom can no longer post to Facebook groups (checked 3 Oct 2026, Circleboom).
- Price: the retrieved interactive page did not expose a reliable current amount or trial term; verify the live quote before comparing cost (checked 3 Oct 2026, Circleboom pricing).
- Best for: Pages plus RSS automation and Canva designs.
Compare the operating conditions, not just the monthly fee
| Publishing method | Identity and access | Availability | Result handling to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Facebook native managed-group scheduling | Relevant admin/moderator controls in a group you manage | Check the native scheduling options shown in that group | Scheduled item, published post and changes to the schedule |
| Browser-based third-party poster | Logged-in profile or Page, membership and permission for the destination | Device, session and extension requirements vary; Group Posting requires an awake online computer and open enabled browser | Submitted, admin-pending, confirmed, failed or uncertain outcomes; avoid retrying uncertainty without inspection |
| Mobile notification workflow | The person finishing the post must be allowed to participate | Working notification app and a person available to complete each post | Reminder delivery is separate from actual group publication |
Do not infer a vendor's hidden posting architecture from the word “API,” and do not assume one browser tool has the same sleep/wake behavior as another. MultiGroupPoster advertises its own browser wake behavior, while SimplePoster requires Chrome open at the scheduled time. Ask what happens after the computer sleeps or an account session expires. SafePoster's FAQ says missed-day posts are skipped and same-day queued work can resume with compressed intervals; inspect that behavior against your intended routine.
A purchase worksheet for your actual group list
Copy these fields before a trial. Use a small, authorized workflow rather than testing the maximum number advertised by the seller.
- Destinations: groups I manage ____; groups I joined ____; Pages ____.
- Identity: the profile or Page permitted in each destination ____.
- Required content: text ____; images ____; links ____; video ____; native formats to verify ____.
- Delivery: automated browser actions, native schedule or manual completion ____.
- Availability: the machine or responsible person will be online during ____.
- Approval: expected admin-pending groups ____; who will inspect them ____.
- Recovery: how the tool identifies an uncertain outcome and prevents a duplicate retry ____.
- Cost: billing term ____; currency/tax ____; seats/devices ____; separate AI fees ____.
- Exit: list/draft/history export ____; cancellation date ____; access removal ____.
A tool earns a place in the workflow if it handles your content and permissions with acceptable active work. We have not tested the other vendors' delivery, reliability, safety settings or support response times, so those remain questions for your own trial. Vendor claims about safe daily counts, reach or restriction rates are not adopted as findings here.
How to choose
- You run the group. Use Facebook's own scheduler. It is free and first-party.
- You post into groups you joined. Consider browser-based options if you want the repeated publishing actions handled for you. Compare the free plan or trial, the price, whether it writes posts for you, and whether it helps with what comes next, such as replying to leads.
- You post to one or two groups now and then. A reminder scheduler you already pay for (Buffer, SocialBee, RecurPost or Publer) is enough.
- You manage Pages, not groups. Compare the Page format, team access, approval and reporting features you need; the entry tier may not include them all.
- You post for clients. Look for a setup where each client keeps their own Facebook login. Our agency plans work that way, and they are not white-label.
For the step-by-step version, read our guide to posting in multiple Facebook groups.
What no tool changes
Group admins decide who can post and whether posts need approval; Meta distinguishes participation and post approval. Facebook restrictions remain possible with manual or automated publishing. There is no universal safe posting count or delay established by this comparison. Browser extensions post from your own account, so any restriction lands on your account, whichever extension you use. Post only where the group allows it, write a version for each group, and inspect warnings and ambiguous outcomes before continuing. Here is how Group Posting's pacing settings work.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best tool to post in multiple Facebook groups?
Choose by the job: native scheduling for a group you manage, browser-based publishing for permitted posts in joined groups, or notifications you finish manually. Compare identity, content formats, approval handling, browser availability and total cost. We make Group Posting and have not independently tested the other tools.
Can Buffer or Hootsuite post to Facebook groups?
Buffer documents mobile notification publishing: you receive a reminder and finish the group post manually. Hootsuite’s current supported-connections guidance documents Facebook Pages; this review does not establish a group publishing route. Verify the exact workflow before buying for groups.
Is there a free Facebook group poster?
Group Posting Lite is free with 5 group-posts per day and 5 lifetime AI uses. MultiGroupPoster lists 6 trial group posts as a one-time allowance. Facebook’s native managed-group scheduling is another option where its controls are available. Product allowances are not Facebook posting limits.
Are Facebook group posting tools safe?
No tool can promise zero risk of Facebook restrictions. Posting through your own browser does not remove account risk, group rules or admin approval. Check the content and identity, inspect warnings and uncertain results, and do not mistake a vendor’s pacing settings for a Facebook posting allowance.
